How do I delete a defunct e-mail address from my YahooGroups account?

It's the default in the system and I can no longer access it.

How do I delete a defunct e-mail address from my YahooGroups account?
Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect
Reply:you'd go to My Account, which is at the very top middle of the page on a group while signed in near the Sign In link. you can also get to this area via the messenger.





you can make any e-mail your primary- once there click the first edit you see on the right (they put them in odd place) then back space out the address that's defunct





to add a new address-


go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address.





then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes
