We ran a mailing list on yahhogroups which was inexplicably shutdown over a weekend August 6th 2005. We received no explanation and still don't know whay they did it as the content of the list was totally legit.
Why was our YahooGroups Mailing List shutdown?
I believe Yahoo! shuts down mailing lists with no activity for 90 days.
You should have been given a warning, though. Are you sure you're registered with a working email address at Yahoo! Groups, or that the warning wasn't caught by your spam filter?
Reply:welll......yahoo keeps a certain limit.....of mailin either umuast have crossed tat or....u must have been inactive for a lomng peroid
